Scout Picks Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 8, 2026
Introduction
Scout Picks is operated by Aertech Labs, LLC, a United States company (“Scout Picks,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Scout Picks iOS and Android applications, our website at scoutpicks.app, our web app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using Scout Picks, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.
Information We Collect
Information You Give Us
- Account Information: Your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your name and profile photo
- Onboarding Answers: The answers you give when you set up the app, such as how you heard about us, your betting experience, and the leagues, markets, and bookmakers you are interested in
- Preferences: Your favorite leagues, teams, and players, your bookmakers, odds format, language, and notification and alert settings
- Saved Picks: The picks you save, with the odds and bookmaker at the time, their results, and the folders you organize them in
- Feedback and Support Messages: What you write to us through the app’s feedback form or by email
- Creator or Referral Codes: A creator or promotional code you enter or arrive with
We do not ask for your phone number, your contacts, your date of birth, or your precise location.
Information from Sign-In Providers
When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive:
- Your name and email address (with Apple, this may be a private relay address)
- Profile photo (if available)
- A unique identifier from the sign-in provider
We do not receive or store your Google or Apple account passwords. If you sign in with a one-time code by email, we store the code only until it expires.
Purchase Information
When you subscribe, we receive your subscription details: the plan, price, currency, renewal and expiry dates, transaction identifiers, and whether a free trial applies. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. A web purchase is either sold through Link, where Sold through Link, LLC (part of Stripe) is the merchant of record and receives your payment details, email address, and billing address directly, or sold with the payment processed for us by RevenueCat and Stripe. Either way RevenueCat records the subscription and we never receive or store your full card number.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system and version, app version, and the language and region set on your device
- Usage Data: The features and screens you use, the actions you take in the Service (for example, saving a pick or changing a filter), and when you use them
- Log Data: The IP address and browser or app details of each sign-in session, and technical logs our servers keep when you use the Service
- Push Notification Tokens: If you allow notifications, a token that lets us send them to your device
- Crash Reports: Technical details about errors and crashes, such as the device, app version, and the screen that failed. Crash reports are not linked to your name or email
- Marketing Attribution: Which campaign, creator link, or store listing led you to install the app or subscribe. On Android, this includes your device’s advertising ID. On iOS, we do not collect your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA)
Location Information
We do not collect your precise location. We store the country set on your device to show you relevant leagues and content, and our analytics provider may estimate your country from your IP address.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and Maintain the Service: Create and manage your account, show you statistics, insights, and odds, save and settle your picks, and manage your subscription
- Personalize Your Experience: Show the leagues, markets, bookmakers, and picks that match your preferences
- Send Notifications and Emails: Send sign-in codes, account and billing messages, alerts you set up, and, unless you opt out, news and promotions about Scout Picks
- Measure and Improve the Service: Understand how the Service is used, measure which marketing campaigns and creator partnerships bring in users, and fix bugs and crashes
- Support You: Respond to your questions, feedback, and refund or cancellation requests
- Keep the Service Safe and Lawful: Prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or illegal activity; protect our, your, or others’ rights, privacy, safety, or property; enforce our Terms of Use; audit our compliance with legal and contractual requirements; and comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
We work with service providers who process information on our behalf to run the Service:
- Amazon Web Services: Hosting of our servers and website
- Neon: Database hosting
- PostHog: Product analytics in the app, the web app, and the website. When you are signed in, your analytics profile includes your account ID, name, and email address
- AppsFlyer: Install and marketing attribution. AppsFlyer may share attribution results with the advertising platforms where we run campaigns, so we can measure those campaigns
- RevenueCat: Subscription management across the App Store, Google Play, and the web. RevenueCat receives your account ID, email address, and device identifiers
- Stripe: Payment processing for web purchases we sell ourselves
- Sentry: Crash and error reporting
- Expo: Delivery of push notifications and app updates (Expo passes notifications to Apple and Google, which deliver them to your device)
- Resend: Delivery of email, such as sign-in codes and account messages
- Telegram: Internal messaging our team uses to receive feedback and operational alerts, which may include your account ID, email address, country, and subscription details
These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us.
Companies That Use Your Information Independently
Some companies receive information about you because you deal with them directly. They decide how to use it, under their own privacy policies rather than ours:
- Link (Stripe): When a web purchase is sold through Link, Sold through Link, LLC (part of Stripe) is the merchant of record and an independent controller of the payment, billing, tax, and transaction information it collects at checkout. Stripe may also use that information for its own purposes, such as fraud prevention and improving its services. See Link’s privacy policy.
- Apple and Google: When you sign in with your Apple or Google account, or subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google process that information under their own privacy policies.
Professional Advisors
We may share information with our lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers when needed for their advice or services.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency), or when necessary to protect rights, privacy, safety, or property.
Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
With Your Consent
We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we send alerts about:
- Picks, insights, and price movements you follow
- Match updates and results
- Promotions, new features, and important announcements
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings, and choose which alerts you receive in the app’s notification settings.
We do not share your device tokens with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and web app use cookies and your browser’s local storage to:
- Keep you signed in to the web app
- Measure visits and usage with PostHog
The Google and Apple sign-in buttons and the payment form in the web app are provided by those companies, which may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the web app may not work without them.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service.
When you delete your account, we immediately:
- Remove your name, email address, profile photo, and onboarding answers from your account
- Sign you out on every device and delete your sign-in connections and notification tokens
We keep, without your name or email address:
- Your subscription and transaction records, which we need for accounting, tax, refunds, fraud prevention, and to process renewals that Apple, Google, or our payment processors still send for that account
- Your saved picks, preferences, and settings, linked only to an internal account ID
- Feedback messages you sent, without any link to your account
Our service providers keep the information they received under their own retention periods. If you want us to ask them to delete it, email us at team@aertech-labs.com.
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it in the App Store, Google Play, or as described in our Terms of Use.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Access and Portability
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
